This program is designed to fulfill the academic requirements for licensure as a Professional Counselor in the state of Mississippi. Upon graduation from this program, individuals are eligible to sit for the NCE Certification Examination (NCE); eligible to pursue the 3,500 hours of supervised clinical mental health counseling experience licensure requirement, and upon completion of the 3,500 hours, apply for a permanent Mississippi Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential.
