**THIS INFORMATION IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING UPDATED. QUESTIONS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO THE DEPARTMENT OR PROGRAM COORDINATOR.**
The student may take the supporting/minor area examination only after completion of all course work in the supporting area(s). The minor professor may allow the student to take the minor examination at the same time the Written Preliminary Examination (WPE) is taken.
Students pursuing the Ph.D. degree are required to take the written examination in the minor area, whenever the course work in the minor area has been completed. The minor examination will be administered according to the policies and procedures of the minor department. Students must have completed the minor and have a letter that certifies of passage from the minor department to be eligible to take the WPE.
