Emergency Preparedness Training Colloquium

colloquium

On March 22, the Counselor Education program held an Emergency Preparedness Training Colloquium for all COE graduate students. Two faculty members and 34 graduate students, including two Ph.D. students, participated in this colloquium in person or virtually. The Director of Emergency Management, Brent Crocker, and Assistant Director, Natasha Cundy, were the speakers and provided significant emergency preparedness presentation techniques for all attendees. The first half of the session was entitled “Until Help Arrives,” which covers simple steps someone can take during an emergency until more trained responders arrive. The second half was about “Active Attack” situations.
